MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – (Thursday, March 19, 2026) – A boil water advisory remains in effect for the portion of Berkeley County Water and Sanitation customers impacted by Monday’s water main break. We have been notified by Santee Cooper that the first water test results have passed state safety requirements.
We are awaiting results from the second test, which is expected Friday morning. Until then, please continue to boil your water before drinking. Our Water & Sanitation team will notify customers once the advisory has been lifted.
Please note that not all Berkeley County Water and Sanitation customers are under this advisory. Those who have been impacted have been notified.
