BCWS gladly offers presentations and guided tours of our of landfill, convenience centers, and waste water treatment plants. We can accommodate small or large groups.

Tours:
- Duration: Please allow at least 2-3 hours for your tour. The duration may vary depending on crowd participation or travel time (e.g., from the treatment plant to the landfill).
- Attire: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Open-toe shoes or heels are not permitted.
- Safety Equipment: Appropriate safety gear, such as safety goggles or hard hats, will be provided at the beginning of the tour if needed.
- Custom Requests: If you have specific areas you’d like to cover in detail, please let us know in advance so we can tailor the tour to your needs.
- Weather Conditions: Tours are conducted only in good weather conditions for safety reasons. Bad weather may require rescheduling.
- Availability: Tours are available between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
Presentations:
- Topics: Our staff delivers presentations on topics such as recycling, water conservation, and careers related to our organization.
- Duration: Presentations typically last about an hour.
- Materials: We provide videos, handouts, and other visual aids. Presentations are tailored to the age group of the audience.
- Group Size: There are no restrictions on age or group size.
- Educational Materials: Educational and promotional materials are usually distributed after the presentation. We also offer packets for teachers who wish to build a lesson around our presentation.
- Information Booths: We can set up information booths at trade shows, community events, and school fairs.
